Welcome to the forum Andre.
Will be interested to read about your other issues , your car isn't the norm I haven't had ANY issues with mine, hopefully your dealer will sort them out.
Thank you Philamg, I've not yet posted information on other issues. Still trying to find driving patterns that might be useful for the forum discussion and/or my dealer! It's around what I would call "car stuttering" when I am nearing a full stop. LIke in the old days when we drove standard/stick cars, and it was time to press on the clutch before the car stalled... it's very, very annoying seeing I am in traffic about an hour a day with stop and go all the time. Good thing there's not one beside me trying to apply make up, because it would be an ugly sight! I've been tuning off the Brake Assist option for the last week, and I do think it has relieved this stuttering as I am slowing down (i.e. in the 4 to 8 km range, with no downshift pressure, gear in on second as I am in comfort mode).
Anyhow, that's my biggest pet peeve right now. But I am also unhappy with the sluggish departures, the inconsistent accelerations and gear shifts of the car (particularly in Sport mode), not knowing what to expect when applying pressure on the gas pedal, and of course (as originally posted), the almighty massive jerking that happens form time to time to make this GLC43 owner just so embarrassed and humiliated and insulted at how much money he's put out there for a machine that is not consistently
worthy of its AMG badge... underlining the word consistent because it does sometimes bring a great smile and satisfaction, but not knowing what the car will do whenever I press on the gas is terribly frustrating and stressful. I should be free to drive off how I feel I want to drive off, but I'm mostly stressed as I go from a red light or 4-way stop.... I only feel truly comfortable when I am cruising down the highway with my cruise control activated, with loud music in the back ground. Then I am relaxed and happy about my purchase, because it is a quite comfortable ride. Problem is I bought the car for the fun factor, for the acceleration, the powerful departures, the gargles and the consistent joyful drive my previous SLK55 gave me...
Last time I spoke to my dealer (salesman), he said this was all normal, this is how this car is meant to be, a bit "rough on the edges".... I think that's BS. One should not satisfied with this kind of stuff after spending this amount of money! Otherwise we'd all be driving Hyundai or Toyota or Kia, or......!
