I found this spy shot recently as well. It seems to confirm that this is indeed what we should expect the GLC interior to look like. As you can see there will be multiple options for the centre stack though. You can also see the quilting on the seats and the door in this new photo.

I think that there is a thick coat of gloss over it. Real wood, but with a heavy finish on it. Not sure if they will offer an option that has a bit more of a natural finish to it.

No doubt, that's how its always been on cars, heavy coating over wood whether that be a high gloss finish or something not nearly as glossy.

I rather have that glossy finish.

I think that the centre stack is really nice and streamlined. Some car interiors are too busy, but this one manages to keep things simple, and that is what design should do in my opinion.
