2017 GLC43 Auxiliary Battery

New member. The dreaded "Auxiliary Battery Malfunction" just showed up on my 2017 GLC43. I did a Google search and there doesn't seem to be any information on the actual location of the auxiliary battery for my car. I did see that Mercedes has put it in a large number of hiding spots, from front to back, on other models. Can anyone help?

Hi and welcome to the forum. I changed my auxilliary battery after it malfunctioned and detailed the process in the link below. Bear in mind I have a 2016 UK diesel-engined RHD car but there could still be relaive location similarities even if the interior is a mirror image.

In relation to this how do you know if it’s the battery or the voltage adapter??
Hi all,
I’ve got the same issue and the cost to replace the voltage converter using original Mercedes’ parts is super expensive. Has anyone had any feedback using the aftermarket converters available online? There appears to be many.
