I just bought my wife a low mileage 2019 GLC 300 thinking from the research I'd done that Carplay was standard. It is not. I've done a ton of research on various forums and am more confused than ever. I'v seen the blue boxes that plug into OBD port on ebay, but the not compatible with GLC. I've seen the add on boxes that require removing the radio, which I would be comfortable doing it myself. I also read the dealer could do an upgrade using the star system. My car has 15U Pre-installation for MB-Link smartphone integration and 522 Audio 20 radio navigation-capable. I spoke to the dealer and MBUSA who both told me it could not be upgraded without an aftermarket part. My wife loves the car (she had a GLK350 previously) and doesn't care about Carplay. I on the other hand couldn't live without it. Any advice would be appreciated.

Is there no CarPlay at all or are you talking about wireless Carplay?

Have you found any workaround to have Apple carplay, I am facing the same issue.

Hello. I posted elsewhere on this forum that I overcame the CarPlay defect by installing one of the systems form these people.
They are here in Australia, but I am sure a similar product is available in the US.
