2020 GLC Interior Defect

I just got my GLC300 about a month ago and noticed interior defect (see attached pics - rear back area). This is my first Mercedes and Im quite disappointed about the quality of the car. It might be an easy fix but I dont like the fact that they need to remove the center console of a new car to fix it. The car was assembled in Finland and Im starting to believe that there are differences in quality or workmanship from plant in Finland and the one in Germany. Is this kind of issue common for Mercedes?

Perhaps a bit of over thinking and frustration, that rightfully should have been picked up on QA/Qc or PDI though it’s not necessarily a defect more a frustrating and disappointing find.
I’m thinking it’s how the resolve is dealt with
