Hi guys, I am new to the forum, just got a 2016 GLC300. I live in NYC. Parking is crazy here. People park bumper to bumper. All my previous cars got scratched up within first few months. I want to get a good front and back bumber protectors. Preferably those stainless steel ones that have to be installed. I searched online and couldn't find any for GLC. Any ideas or advice? Maybe you guys found some other model bumper protectors that suits the GLC300.
Thanx in advance😊

i haven't seen anything yet but as one line of defense i'm planning to get a hitch with a hitch arm that comes out enough so if anyone rear ends me, the hitch bar will get all of the abuse.

As for the sides, i'm not sure.

It helps that I need the hitch to actually tow things from time to times; small boats, small trailers, bike rack, maybe a cargo box.

Hey welcome to the forums and congratulations on your purchase.

Not too sure if there are any bumper protectors for the bottoms.. I mean, there's some things out for the top of the bumper where it meets the trunk lid but that's about it to my knowledge.

I find sidesteps usually work for the sides. They stop doors low cars hitting your door and catch the step instead (clearly won't work if it's an SUV parked up alongside though!). It's a shame bull bars have been outlawed (in the U.K. Atleast), they are great for this kind of thing.

Weather Tech has a BumpStep XL (for trailer hitches) which looks like it provides the kind of protection Bota is talking about. It is for 2 inch hitches, but the factory hitch measures smaller. Has anyone used the Weather Tech Bump Step on their GLC 300? Does it fit the factory hitch?
