Turns out it was the cam position sensor. Mercedes mobile service had it sorted in about an hour with a software update. There’s still a question mark surrounding the battery. Otherwise all good now.
Check engine light
So we collected it yesterday from Merc Liverpool and drove home today. With 25 miles to go the check engine light came on.
Performance is normal apart from that is seems to crank for a long time before starting.
Car has less than 300 miles total on it.
GLC350D
Any ideas?
Mercedes connect suggest that it’s emissions and it will clear itself... tried a few more starts and it’s still on :frown2:

Glad they could get you fixed up quickly. Shouldn't have happened in the first place
