COMAND System Issues - MB refuses to fix
I own a 2016 MB GLC300. The backup camera stopped working. I took it to the dealership late last year. Yes - it did have around 110K miles on it.
However, this is a critical safety system and I was told the only way to fix the backup camera was to replace the entire COMAND system at a cost of more than $3,000.
Has anyone else had issue with their COMAND System (radio, backup cameras, phone, radio, etc.)??
I cannot imagine MB having a system that when ONE function stops working they have to replace the entire system. If so, pretty poor engineering by MB.
Appreciate it if you would share your issues here. Maybe we can get MB to step up and address this issue as a recall. It is a SAFETY issue.
