Converting Speedo from mph to kph

Hi Folks,

I am considering picking up a 250D in thew UK and bringing it back to Ireland, and would prefer to have it all in metric.

I'm just wondering if it is possible/easy to do the above, and I am referring to the actual analog dial, not the digital display.

Thanks in advance for any guidance.

You can get the dials on ebay for about EUR100. They are slightly different in colour from the original ones, so make sure you specify the correct engine type and replace both dials. It took me about 25 minutes to replace the dials.

Thanks for the response. Beyond physically replacing the dials do you not need to re-calibrate the dial?
You don't, just move the hands around to see where they go before removing and put them back the same way. The hands removal actually needs significant force, but just wiggle them a little bit and pull up hard.
