Here I was expecting my GLC 43 , hyacinth red , night package, leather etc etc next Friday and today I'm told it's still at the factory on a rolling hold , whatever that might be and they can't give me a date as they don't know what the hold up is. Anybody else experiencing delays?

Regards Andrew

Apparently a lot of 43's are on hold at the docks in the US.

Sometimes I think they just tell us there's a delay for no reason because there's a reason they don't want to tell us about. Easier to give us the run around then to get to the problem and deal with all the questions that follow after.

Not just the 43. My 220 Sport it delayed. But I see on other forum posts here that others are taking delivery right now, so I am puzzled. Here's my experience

Due for delivery on 8th and I was to collect on 10th.
On the 9th I got a call saying it's been delayed (yes, one day before).

Initially the dealer decried any responsibility for the delay, referenced the contract, no obligation, factory to blame etc. After several days of battle they've put me in a loan car (happy to share what I did if anyone needs to know). I'm puzzled how others are being delivered since they've told me:

- they only found out the day before
- the whole production line has stopped.
- That whilst end of October is the predicted new date, there is no confirmation of that date.
- they can't add to my ordered options since the car is built, just stuck on the line

I can't reconcile that with other people getting their deliveries.

I would be amazed if the production line had stopped, doesn't seem right to me.
