In my 2018 GLC350e the Emode does not work . It runs only on engine . when I start with Emode it switches automatically to hybrid mode . Then the Emode becomes inactive on the screen . the engine always runs.
please help

I changed the battery myself problem solved .

I am also thankful, this really helps, my battery also older, 5 years in November. I don't run my car much basically weekend, so I hooked up a battery tender yesterday, I'll see if it works when it's fully changed, if not the new battery coming

My issue is a little different. The car couldn't be charged at the charge station. But it can run with gas without any problem. The dealer told me the battery was too old and thus bad. But I declined the replacement, as it took $500+. Somehow the dealer was able to charge the battery. But the problem was, the battery was not used in Hybrid mode any more after the level dropped from 14 miles to 7 miles while I was driving.

The battery was then charged to 14 miles again at the regular charge station. But now it stays at 14 miles, meaning the battery is not used.

Can you confirm if the old battery is the root cause? If so, I may find a cheap shop to replace it. I didn't get the conclusion very clear from the video.
