Electric Park Break Issue

Occasionally on start up and selecting reverse the electronic park break doesn’t automatically disengage and a message to disengage flashes up. I the manually disengage and the red engaged symbol goes off, but an amber alert comes on and stays illuminated until the next re start. Anyone had any similar experience or comments?
