Had a warning light appear on the centre console informing me to check brake pad wear (noticed it didn't state the front or rears) so took the front wheels off first as most of the braking is done by these and pads seemed fine, loads of wear on all pads after having covered 25,000 miles from the factory. Looked at the rears and found the inner pads had worn right down again after having covered the exact same amount of miles.

Took the car to local garage, not paying dealer prices to replace just the pads, and apparently they're seeing a few rear rear pads being subjected to excessive wear on the GLC's and predominately the AMG's.

Anyone else noticed this or is it just me?

Think it depends on how you drive and whether use cruise control or not
Same with active distronic - both use rear wheel braking hence premature wear on the rear pads
