Do you have to pay extra for the infotainment system? also my park assist doesn't work in the UKI bought my 2019 GLC 300 with Infotainment system. Didn't realize that with it, apple car play doesn't work. I could connect my iphone through bluetooth so I can make and receive calls, and play music from my phone, but I can't access my iphone's other features. Perhaps this is the same issue with your Android?
I've been on to Mercedes it was something to do with Europe some models have is disabled.As I recalled when I spec'd out what I wanted online, the infotainment system cost more than the apple play package. To get car's navigation software, it required infotainment system.
Park and assist should work regardless of where you use it. I thought that was such a neat feature that it was a must have. Since then, I only used it something like 3 times and that was in the first couple of weeks of driving. I haven't driven it anywhere since where it required me to do parallel parking. You might have to refer to the user manual to see if parking assist have to be turned on for it to work or if it's turned on automatically. You might have to bring it to the dealer and ask them to show you how to use it. I did that when I test drove and bought the car. I also believed that the car has to slow down to something like less than 20 MPH or 30 KPH in order for parking assist to kick in. You'll know when parking assist is on when you see a P lit up with an arrow next to it to let you know parking assist is available.
