Hi I'm new to the group, I'm test driving a new GLC 43 this Friday and I really want to know what peoples MPG are like, round town vs long journey. I'm coming from an X5 40d msport.

Don't have the AMG GLC43 4matic Coupe and it looks like people aren't logging in their estimates on fuelly. There's only one and the owner average around 19.1 mpg. That's not bad and just a bit under the manufacturer provided rating of 20 mpg.

Not sure what country you're in, but I have a 350D, which is averaging just over 30MPG (I'm in UK). I did consider a 43, but 20MPG was less than i was comfortable with. Mind you I wasnt that comfortable with 500 quid road tax either :). GLC is a beautiful car though..

I believe the road tax on the 350d and amg43 bought after the 31st march 2017 is the same in uk - £450

Rickolas I’ve got a 43 had it since March and overall in 7500 miles mines averaged 24mpg, on a long run you can get 27-28 sat at 70-80 on the motorways.
Even out having a bit of fun you don’t feel like your throwing fuel at it.
