Thankfully these days spare tires are being phased out especially with brands like MB that are at times quicker to phase them out. More space for what we need.

Most of your losses is with how high you can stack things, so when it comes to hauling around groceries, luggage, etc, you shouldn't experience much of a loss.

Also, even when it comes to usage that call for more space, like going skiing, to the range, etc, we should still be well off.

The GLC won't have space for a spare tire at all?

Would you even need it? With how many roadside assistance programs are out and the growing response times of them getting out to us... the majority of us will be fine without a spare.
