Hi

New here. And looking to buy a GLC300 4matic. We do a lot long drives, often don't mind sleeping in the car.

In the GLC when you fold down the rear seats, and put an inflatable mattress, can you sleep inside?

I am 5.6 tall.

Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

Not tried it but should be ok as rear seats fold flat, was uncomfortable in my discovery sport as there was a 4 inch ridge when the seats were folded.

should be doable. the front seats can also move very far forward as well. i don't see why it wouldn't fit.

If I don't have time for a hotel/motel and are on the road, I simply put back the seat back. When on the road, putting a mattress in would then also mean to remove the luggage. Seems too much hassle to me.

Have done it quite a bit Klass, when fishing but not using mattress, not the most comfortable of sleeps but bearable.

Never tried sleeping in the back with a mattress but this is oddly now on my to-do list one day... Thanks haha

Its fun. It's like camping. Find a good rest area, so that you have a rest room nearby. otherwise to me it brings memory of childhood days when we used to build forts in bed.

Having a sleeping bad or air mattress helps a lot.
