Picking up my GLC in 2 days time. Chopping in a GLA 250 AMG Line for a GLC 250d AMG Line.

Been a reasonable wait since the purchase in February. A few changes in spec along the way (MB stopping Tenorite, adding LED Intelli's). Have looked forward to this day for a while.

Time to plan a long trip this weekend!

Welcome to the forum Pip.
Good choice of car and spec from a fellow Brit.
What colour have you opted for and don't forget to post some pictures?
Enjoy the new arrival:smile2:

Hopefully have some pics up soon.
Welcome Pip ! Can't wait to see updates on your feelings towards the new purchase. What kind of trips typically do you go on ??

Enjoy the new motor when it arrives, there's nothing quite like the smell & feel of a new car.

To be fair, not many. But any excuse will see me take it out the garage for a long run to no-where... perhaps across to the Peak District.

It was purchased for the extra space offered over our current GLA. My wife and I are expecting twins soon, the extra space will come in handy for sure.
Good luck with the sprog's - double trouble !

The wife's cousin Elizabeth had two, yes two, sets of twins ! No previous history of twins in the family either. Oddly enough they are so different they look like they have different parents. When you see all four of them together they don't even look related, they all look a different age too. As they are both doctors they had them DNA checked in case they'd picked the wrong ones up but they are indeed theirs ! You couldn't get four less alike kids.

Oh man congratulations ! That's gonna be quite the amount of fun haha. But I see where you're coming from with the long rides to no-where, I typically do that quite often lol.

Hahaha, I read that and died laughing. But that's actually really surprising and odd to hear to say the least. Would not have expected that at all !
And it has arrived. That's about all I've got time to write at the moment... having too much fun!

Pictures soon.
long drives to no where during the break in process is the best since at the end of the trip you have accomplished something all while not being fully aware of it :D
