My name is Walt and I'm an American Service Member stationed/living in Germany--Ansbach specifically (Mitte Franconia, Bavaria)
I have ordered a 2018 US Spec MB GLC300 4Matic Coupe from the Factory in Stuttgart. I am set to pick her up at the end of August. Am very excited about this acquisition. Have owned BMWs, Audis, Porsches, and VWs...but this will be my first Mercedes Benz.
I have a question. I did read though the threads first, but am still somewhat unclear.
I did not order her with navigation, but she comes standard with Garmin nav pre-wired. I am told I can purchase a SIM card, plug her in, and get the navigation function. I've seen quite a few on Amazon.de, but want to ensure I order/receive the right SIM card the first time.
Also, I'll need European maps, obviously.
Any advice on the subject?
