Issue with driver seat belt GLC 2017

I am new to this forum and apologize in advance if this subject has been treated already but I could not find it.
I have had a recall on seat belts in 2018 , the dealer told me.
now recently I had the driver seat belt intermittently beeping and showing that the belt is not fastened when in fact it is. The local MB service told me that they have to put it on a diagnostic test and when I asked who would pay for it , it was not clear. Is there any one having continuing issues with seatbelts On their GLC 300 2017 ? And how did you solved it with the dealership? Thanks

Nothing so far. It is quite intermittent and sometimes it stops. When I wear a coat and it put pressures on the belt on my right side, it will start .
Just tried a process that I found on the web regarding this obnoxious seat belt chime. I sat in my GLC 300, door closed, seat belt fastened, started the car then proceeded to hold the driver side "door unlock button" down for 10 seconds, I heard a beep. I drove away and no chime !! - I can only guess that it rest the sensor !! Will see if it lasts.
