That’s because you need the app to remote start it. It does not remote start through the FOB.
Key FOB Remote Start
Hello everyone,
I just bought a 2022 GLC 300 yesterday and I’m trying to figure out how to remote start with my key FOB. I see you can remote start through the app but nowhere does it have instructions for the FOB. Is it not available, or am I missing something?

I purchased an US spec car in UAE, and when trying to pair the car with app it does not want to accept the VIN number. What should I do in this case?
