Low fuel pressure

2017 GLC25d, drives fine until you want to accelerate to overtake, then it hesitates and jumps into limp mode. Have had it tested and it is dropping fuel pressure when accelerating, possible problem with high pressure fuel pump. Car has done 120k miles, anyone else experienced this problem. Being quoted up to £5k to fix!
