Don't understand why USA highway speed limits are not displayed on the navigation screen. Almost every other auto navigation system has that information. What's the problem?

Canada is the same way. i think they are just being lazy...

same reason to not have "traffic sign assist." too lazy. although the official answer is "not standardized such as Europe, so cant do it." but i still say its laziness.
My 2017 GLC43 NAv screen shows US speed limits - can't remember if I had to change a seeting to see them.
My 2017 GLC300 shows US highway and major surface street speed limits in the HUD and on the Navi display. It does not show speed limits for "neighborhood" streets however.

hmm, i wonder if that is new for the 2017 models.

anyone with a Canada 2017 have this as well? or anyone with a US 2016 model?
Lol maybe we're just too lazy to find the setting and turn it on in that case ;)
It also shows on instrument panel screen (between speedo & tach) under the Graphic Assistance screen (radar cruise control).
