Need Garmin Nav SD Card Part Number

Anyone know what the part number is for the most recent Garmin Nav SD card?

I have a 2017 GLC300 4MATIC and want to add the Nav feature. I've been looking around online a bit it seems the part numbers vary a bit. Not sure why of if that is due to map date or if its for another car. I'd like to see about buying the card online someplace at a rate better than list price from the local dealer.

Thanks in advance!

The 3 part numbers I find online for the Garmin card are:
205-820-48-00 (without code 355)
213-906-27-04 this is listed as version 5.2 (says with code 355, EV5)
218-906-60-02 this is listed as version 6.0 (says with code 522)

On some of the parts sites if you plug in a 2016 GLC300, it recommends the first "205" part number. The last two part numbers ("213" & "218") are common on eBay. Descriptions vary on whether they work with the GLC300.

Presumably, you have Audio 20 with touchpad (NTG5Star2). Code 522 is the installation of Audio 20.

In order to use Garmin SD card nav, you need to have option code 355 - Pre-installation for Garmin MapPilot navigation system - which installs GPS receiver, etc. The Garmin SD card itself is option code 357.

The first 3 digits of the PN you've listed denote the MB model - 205=C-class, 213=new E-class, 218=CLS. I recall the GLC was initially thought to be designated X205, but later officially designated X253. The last 4 digits denote the region and/or revision of the Garmin map. May be good to check with your local MB dealer on the correct part number.

One word of caution when buying online - the Garmin SD card is tied to the vehicle in which it is first activated and will not work on another car.
May be good to check with your local MB dealer on the correct part number.
Thank you for the reply and explanation. Over that last couple days I have been gathering bits and pieces of information on this. One place online told me the 213-906-27-04 was the right number. I still don't have 100% confidence in which card to purchase.

I began by contacting my local MB dealer. Well they were VERY unhelpful! Asked for my VIN, gave me the price, ($680) but when I asked for the part number, they told me they couldn't provide that to me and instead gave a "quote number". This was my first clue that this new vehicle will cause some pain during the time I own it.

I saw on eBay that 213-906-27-04 is the Garmin SD Card for North America 2015/2016. It looks that the maps are at least a year old, but I cannot be sure of this.

PLUM72 - Just picked up my GLC (X253) today. The Garmin MapPilot SD card Part Number had the prefix '213'. It looks like the prefix does not affect the functioning of the SD card on the X253. The Garmin MapPilot SD card option was ordered with the car, which left the factory in November 2016. The map was dated '2015'. Unlike the Garmin handheld GPS units where the maps are updated quarterly, it looks like the MB Garmin maps are updated less frequently.
Hi everyone,

I have a Mercedes GLC 300 coupe that is pre-wired for navigation (option code 355), no touchpad. I believe the "A213 906 27 04 and Version 5.2 (Map 5.0)" is the right card for my vehicle but I've tried two on eBay from different sellers and I get the following message: "The navigation data is corrupted. Please contact your Mercedes-Benz dealer."

I will probably try one more time but I don't think it's likely that I received two bad cards....right? They were both from reputable ebay sellers with great feedback.

Appreciate any help, thank you.
My dealer (MB of Alexandria VA) told me the part number for my 2017 GLC 300 4Matic is 213-906-27-04. Their price = $625.
Found the part on Amazon (Power Motorsports) for $115 including $4.50 shipping. Just ordered it.
Just installed the SD card I got from Amazon (Power Motorsports). Took no time. Works perfectly! Highly recommended. Saved $510 over MB price too!
I guess I should have looked elsewhere I paid $ 685.00 - at the dealer in Houston, Tx. Purchased in April; it came with the 2015-2016; and needs updating already.
2017/2018 version is available on Amazon and Ebay for around $185.
2018 glc 300

The correct SD card number for a 2018 GLC 300 manufactured August 2017 and later is:

A 218 906 20 03 but good luck finding one! Dealer can't get them and then they want $625. One on Ebay for $449 but do we trust that it isn't a Chinese rip off????????
Hi,
Just bought a 2018 GLC300. The specs say pre-wored for sd card navigation but my radio does not have a touchpad but audio controller. How do I know if this will work?
Thanks
New navigation assistance option.

Looks very promising, not sure what Mercedes will be using it and if it will be backwards compatible with our GLC systems, here’s hoping.

This is my first MB. Where do I find the information regarding whether I have a audio system compatible with the OEM NAV? If I have a 2018 MB GLC300 base model, what part # would I need?
Here is the one that we got from Amazon for our 2019 GLC300, and it works just fine.
