Hello all

Quick into and hi to all forum members

We've order our GLC 43 coupe from MB here in Beckenham, originally told it would available be mid to late October, received a call last week to say it's now due to them on 26th September and ready of collection on the 30th (wasn't expecting it to be good news, I'd always assumed it would slip backwards if anything!)

Spec is;

Selenite grey
21" wheels
Premium plus package
Night package
Standard trim with black ash
Intelligent lighting
Black seat belts (the boss wasn't having red!!!)

The GLC replaces a XC90 and an e46 m3, somewhat of a compromise between the 2 it's replacing (although nowhere near as much space as the volvo).

Really looking forward to getting in in a months time, but feel that first 1000 miles is going to drag by....

Has anyone bothered with MBs wheel and tyre insurance, my initial thoughts it's a good idea with those wheels and tyres!

Welcome DH, great car but you should put your foot down regarding red belts, they make the inside of the car different.

Same spec and colour as mine except for 21 inch wheels and I have side steps.

Good choice. Pity on the red choice. That what's makes it stand out. But boss is the boss :) I don't believe in the insurance too many T&С :)

Thanks for the welcome

The red belts were a deal breaker apparently .

Still not sure how i got away with "sign off" of the 43 engine, small price to pay tho....

Also good for the pointer on the Ins T&C's - ill get a quote and have a good spin over the small print before i go any further.

Hi all

Collected the car yesterday afternoon and have to say we are chuffed to bits.

I'm having a ceramic paint protection applied next weekend so will drop some pictures on the forum then.

One question though - what is the wider understanding of what the night pack includes, I was expecting black exhaust tips and black front and rear skirt trims!

Otherwise looks and feels amazing and it looks good without the riding boards.

Congratulations on your new car, the 43 is a stunning car.

I have black exhaust tips on my night pack, not too sure what you mean by black front and rear trims, if you can post some photos I will see if it's the same as mine.

It doesn't sound as if you have the night package as the exhaust tips should be black as well as lower trim front and rear plus the roof rails and gloss black side mirrors. Have a look on the cofigurator that will give you a picture , if it's on the invoice but not on the car you need some compensation.
