If the downhill speed regulation is set to stop and control the speed by itself, do you need to switch it off once you get onto flat road or is it automatic?

You normally have to just switch them of manually (on previous cars I've had with this feature) but I'll update you when I've had a chance to get to grips with mine.If the downhill speed regulation is set to stop and control the speed by itself, do you need to switch it off once you get onto flat road or is it automatic?
