Audible warning does not activate until car is a few inches from contacting obstruction. This forces driver to take his eyes off the surroundings and look at the instrument cluster proximity indicators. Even these do not light up until the car is quite close to the obstruction. Even the corner indicators on the 360 screen activate much too close to the obstruction.
My previous car, Audi A6, began a slow beeping several feet from the obstruction. The interval between beeps would decrease until a continuous beep occurred when close to the obstruction. Much Better!!
Can the sensors be reprogrammed by the dealer?
