We just had the windshield replaced in our 2016. They used MB glass ordered from the dealership. We had to take it back to the dealer afterwards to get the wipers reprogrammed. Now the rain sensing wipers don't work - no intermittent function.

Anyone else experience this ???

Had my screen replaced, with genuine MB screen, and was warned I might need to take it to a dealer, but the dealer said I only need to do that if I get warning messages, which I didn't. The intermittent function still works, but does seem over keen, it always does one flick each time I start the car, however hot and dry it is, then quite often each time I put it in drive, for instance after going to reverse and back to drive.

That sounds really odd... did you call anyone and ask them why that is ?

After 2nd visit to the dealer they ordered a new sensor. National back ordered part. They did get it to work on the 2nd setting but not the low setting.
