One of the my few concerns I had when we first bought the GLC was the lack of any protection to the top of the rear bumper especially from our dog's claws when getting in and out of the rear. Searched various sites for after market protection and I came across this on Ebay.
Looks great easy to install (3M tape) and of quality finish. I bought through a German supplier for £50. Pictures attached.
cheers Greg

I like this as well....and also a concern for us as well. We have new 2017 GLC300 White w/black. I don't see anything yet for a 2017 model. Can anyone please make a suggestion on when or where this item may be available for the 2107 model. Or does it really matter and the 2016 version will fit? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure if you contact the company that makes them, they should be able to let you know if it will fit or not. You can always get it and try to see, but you if it doesn't you'll probably have to pay for shipping the return.

Well, they all come in from China. You can order from eBay direct with a Chinese supplier for around £53 but you will wait weeks for it to arrive. I'd get one from Direct 4x4 here in the UK, it costs £59.99 delivered (for those of us on the mainland anyway). They also do 3 different types of sidestep - £190, £210 & £225 should you feel the need to deposit dirt on your trousers every time you get in or out your car.

Stainless Steel Rear Bumper Protector for GLC 2015 onwards

These protectors simply adhere to the bumper with 3M double-sided tape. Make sure you meticulously clean the surface beforehand. Use a magnet to determine whether the steel is indeed a stainless grade (magnets don't stick to true stainless steel)

Hey Sir Toobad,
thanks for all that info. 4x4 actually sell nine different running boards to really make sure you dirty your trousers on entering and leaving the GLC.:surprise:

I wonder is their a company in the UK selling the side-lights where the running boards are fitted?...:smile2:
