Rear seat belt warning

I'm not sure if this is a fault or if all GLC's do it but everytime I start up and drive off the rear seat belt warning comes up in the display even when there is nobody in the back and nothing on the rear seat. I tried connecting all the seat belts but I still got the warning so have to press OK everytime to turn it off very annoying . Just like the stop start I wish it could be set to just work when the brakes are on hold , I just turn it off everytime if I remember .

When I had a test drive of my car it did that but I pointed it out to the salesman and it had been sorted when I picked the car up.

the warning comes up now when I start the car but goes off after about 30 seconds though haven't timed it. My rear seat belts aren't fastened btw.

I believe it’s just a warning/reminder for the driver to check any rear seat passengers have their belts on as it’s the drivers responsibility and will fall foul of the law if pulled!
