When I had a test drive of my car it did that but I pointed it out to the salesman and it had been sorted when I picked the car up.
the warning comes up now when I start the car but goes off after about 30 seconds though haven't timed it. My rear seat belts aren't fastened btw.

I believe it’s just a warning/reminder for the driver to check any rear seat passengers have their belts on as it’s the drivers responsibility and will fall foul of the law if pulled!I'm not sure if this is a fault or if all GLC's do it but everytime I start up and drive off the rear seat belt warning comes up in the display even when there is nobody in the back and nothing on the rear seat. I tried connecting all the seat belts but I still got the warning so have to press OK everytime to turn it off very annoying . Just like the stop start I wish it could be set to just work when the brakes are on hold , I just turn it off everytime if I remember .
