The first time I owned a car that came with runflats, I really noticed the difference from normal tyres, but I sort of got used to it. They didn't ride as nice, didn't corner as nice, and were horrible when you hit potholes, etc. As soon as the tyres wore out, I made the decision to change to normal tyres and carry tyre sealant and an air compressor. Best thing I ever did! You do whatever you think you think is right, but knowing what I know now, I would never go back to runflats by choice, and would probably swap away from them if a car came with them.
Replace MOE with normal Run Flats?
Hi all - looking to replace the Pirelli MOEs on my GLC250 in Australia, and am questioning whether it's better to replace with standard run flats instead of MOEs? Certainly cheaper options in standard run flat, such as Continental PremiumContact or UltraContact. Anyone done this and can recommend? Thanks!

So my friend has told me all about how Mercedes have breached emissions regulations by fitting "defeat devices" my vehicle was actually manufactured in 2015 so my mate sent me over an emissions claims form didn't think much of it until one weekend filled it out and I actually qualified thought this would be worth a mention this is the form I used: https://www.emissionsclaimcentre.co.uk/mercedes-17
I switched from the Perilli's to Continentals and my mileage doubled and they ride much better. Now I get around 40K miles from a set of tires. HI I am about to change Perilli run flats 55000KLMS, when you changed to normal tyres did you notice any difference negatively in the handling etc? I changed from Pirellis to Michelin Pilot Sport and the improvement was anything but subtle in all areas. Handling improved significantly and so did the comfort and noise. My car had the occasional crabbing issue which disappeared altogether with the Michelins. I noticed that Michelin also do a Pilot sport SUV that is supposed to be more comfortable still.
