Hi all,

The lug bolts on the GLC don't appear to have a standard hex head (i.e. the part of the lug bolt that mates to the tool used to tighten it).

I've heard that a special socket is required; using a standard 17mm socket can result in damage/deformation of the head.

Do those of you here that do your own winter/summer wheel swaps and/or rotations use a special socket? If so, did you buy it from Mercedes?

Wish I could help you, but I'm not the kind of owner that changes their own wheels when it comes to wintertime. Maybe you can try asking your local garage? They'll most likely be knowledgeable about ti and more willing to share information than the dealership mechanics.
