My 2021 GLC300 has same issue recently, when I start driving my car from upperhill, towards downhill, the transmission will not upshift, keep at D1, Or D2 on Comfort Mode, untill to the flat road, the upshift normally. Have your car fixed the probelm, and any advices? thanks!
Transmission not shifting
I have a 2017 GLC300 SUV. After backing out of a driveway onto a forward downhill grade. the transmission will not upshift, keeping the engine revs high. After stopping at the hill bottom, shifting becomes normal. Driving mode is "Comfort".
Is this normal - engine braking? I don't see anything in the owner's manual that addresses this.
