I've watched the threads on tyre wear with interest as some seemed to wear out quickly.

My car's just had its first service at 10040 miles and the condition report on my 20" Vredestein all season tyres is at worst point 5.6 and best 6.2.
Interestingly the lower figure are from the middle of the tyres so I guess that means I should lower the psi a little maybe?

Seems reasonable wear to me with maybe 60% of my driving on rough winding country roads, and I don't hang around. :wink2:

It was part of the normal check and got the usual emailed health check video as well. Get that from my wife's mini dealers, all seem to do it these days.

I had hummed and harred about the service as could have got it half price from a local german car specialist but they did knock £20 off to match another dealer and I wanted the sat nav map update and there was also one for the engine control unit ( software 1711P54Do8 ) so diesel users should look out for that one.

This is the health check form they should give you.

Hi, I have had this same issue. I have a glc 2018 coupe and at 10,000 I had the front tyres rotated left to right as my left was almost bald on outside- now the new left is bald and only at 19,000. Mercedes have said it’s normal but at 600 per tire for 20,000 it’s a bit much. The car jumps when at full lock and makes an awful banging noise also apparently this is normal? Something doesn’t feel right?
