Upholstery repair

Hi all, I have a 2016 220 AMGLine with leather interior. Recently I’ve had some slight damage to the drivers seat where a small area of the top layer has been scuffed away. I’m just wondering if anyone knows of anywhere that does repairs of this kind?

Hi and welcome to the forum. You may want to add your rough location to your profile as this will get you more region-specific replies to your questions. Sorry to hear your driver's seat has been damaged. If you are from the UK I would suggest a DIY repair using this £38 kit. It uses the same approach a professional restorer would take:

Wouldn't say no to a picture of how bad the damage is in your GLC. Is there a rip or the area is just thinner than the rest of the seat?
Shouldn't be too difficult to find an upholstery shop to fix your seat, but I can almost guarantee that they'll have to redo the whole seat. Hopefully they can match it to your rest of your interior. Whereabouts are you located?
Is it a fault with the seat or have you caused it, if former have you been to the dealers.
Hi there, did you manage to find someone to fix your seat? I have a very similar problem, where it seems the top layer of the leather has come away.
