When I had the clonking issue MB offered me a set of winter tyres which I refused because of likely damage to wheels changing them. After taking them to the motoring ombudsman they gave me a set of 20 inch AMG wheels with winter tyres.
Winter tyres without separate rims.
Hi All its time to by the winter tyres for my new GLC 43 AMG SUV.
Do I need to buy complete set ( tyres +rims) or can I buy only tyres and get these fitted to the rims with summer tyres.
Both sets (summer & winter ) would be 20“.
Besides ease and cost of mounting each season, What would be the reason to buy complete set?
