Most cars are accelerate in notations like 0 to 60 in 10 seconds or the like. Today my engine light came on 1/4 mile after leaving my house. It immediately made the 0-60 time about 5 minutes! My GLC would just not respond to any heavy foot on the accelerator. It accelerated at it's own uniform ( very sow ) pace. It would reach 50 but it took an incredibly long time. It also went through all the gears appropriately. I tried revving the engine in neutral and it would not rev. Tried 'rebooting' the car by turning it off and restarting and that did not solve the issue. The MB dealer was great in taking me in without an appointment and fixed it ( $$$ ) but I was wondering if this is a common issue. Until this point in time we have had absolutely no issues with this car. I label it 5-stars. Anyone?
